From Grassroots Reality to Global Policy
At MENA Women's Coalition, our vision is to be the leading women's clothing brand that inspires and empowers women to feel confident in their skin. We aim to create a world where every woman feels beautiful and empowered.
Our Process
Three core principles guide our work:
- Bridging North and South: We act as a vital bridge between grassroots women leaders in the Global South and organizations in the Global North, fostering partnerships built on deep respect for local culture, history, and legacy.
- Empowerment and Access: We empower grassroots leaders by providing them with direct access to the international platforms where decisions are made and policies are written.
- An Intersectional Lens: We understand that challenges like climate change and food security do not affect all women equally. We apply a critical intersectional lens to our work, recognizing the complex identities that shape the realities of the leaders in our coalition.
Our Process in Action
We turn these principles into action through a clear and proven process:
- Identify Needs: We start by listening to grassroots leaders to understand their most pressing, on-the-ground challenges.
- Mobilize Grassroots: We connect and support local women-led organizations, mobilizing their collective power and expertise.
- Advocate Globally: We bring their authentic, lived experiences to the world stage to influence and shape international policy.
- Implement Solutions: We work with our partners to implement targeted, effective solutions that create lasting change in their communities.
