As part of Climate Week NYC 2022, the MENA Women's Coalition, in partnership with the Faith and Food Coalition, hosted the panel "Marching Towards COP27: Building MENA Climate Resilience."
This pivotal event marked the official launch of our report, "Building MENA Climate Resilience: Engaging Women of Faith in Food Systems Transformation." The discussion brought together grassroots leaders and international decision-makers to share best practices and highlight the vital role of women of faith in creating sustainable food systems
This dialogue convenes women-led grassroots organizations from the MENA Women's Coalition from different faiths and communities to address how regenerative and faith-inspired solutions can build climate resilience and adaptation. Focusing on the challenges of food security and climate change, the discussion highlights the lived experiences of women of faith leaders. Outcomes from this dialogue will inform the development of sustainable food systems pathways and provide key insights to Member States.
